Healing for the Church in Iowa

from a 2003 prophetic word given by Dutch Sheets + Chuck Pierce via Awaken the Dawn

The Lord says, “Iowa will be known as a wild place in the Spirit - a radical place of revolutionary warriors who move in radical zeal and boldness.”

Anointing will break forth from the plains of Iowa. The fire of the Lord’s Spirit is going to begin to burn through the dross, to cauterize wounds and heal hurts. He is going to heal, and not only physical and emotional wounds… The Body of Christ is going to be healed with a spirit of healing, and harmony. Unity is coming.

The Lord says that He is no longer going to be persuasive - speaking in ways that try to woo his people into this. He is coming with a Holy fire that is going to burn down walls that have previously separated and divided. He is coming with fire so that passion breaks into His Church - even in places we have not asked Him to come. Even upon those who are bound by tradition, lifelessness and religious spirits! He is going to do it anyway - to move in, crash through walls and barriers. He is going to lift fatigue and weariness off people. His leaders are going to be filled with fresh zeal, fresh fire, and fresh oil from His Spirit.
